Dont miss Zach Said on tour, new single Money feat Knucks out now

Zach Said heads out on tour in June following the release of his new single ‘Money’ on Insanity Records. Lifted from an upcoming collection of songs which features production from underground legend Shy FX and Laconic who’s recent cuts include those for Tom Grennan & Tiggs Da Author.

Zach says “One of my favourite songs from the lot I’ve just written, I wrote it the day after my girlfriend’s birthday when I was too broke to buy her a birthday present. It’s all about what you hope to give to the people you love. Knucks dropped his verse on it a couple months after writing it. He KILLED it! I remember getting the mix through and spilling my cup of tea.”

"Featuring a foot-stomping beat and throbbing bass line, it’s a great way to follow up his equally-excellent track ‘No Love’” The Independent

“He’s got a really soulful voice, really funky, really kind of future R&B-esque but with a real kind of nod to old soul and old funk from the 80’s” Mistajam – BBC Radio 1

“The songwriter keeps the flames burning on funky new pop jam 'Holding On', a bright, buoyant groove with enough energy to block out those Autumn blues.” CLASH

Zach Said released his debut EP ‘Contrast’ at the end of last year which has had over 1 million streams on Spotify and saw him win fans across both BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra and The eclectic writing hit home with specialists across the board, cementing him for them as one of the most promising new talents in the UK at present.

With production that’s reminiscent of The Neptunes, the soulful vocals of D’Angelo, Zach Said is a refreshing British soul pop artist that doesn’t take himself too seriously. For him each track is a personal reflection, often of awkward relationships and complex romances.

Taking inspiration from big soulful voices like Frank Ocean & Anderson Paak but with added guitar sensibilities from City & Colour and John Mayer. This teamed with forward thinking production from the aforementioned pop/urban talents. He kept busy on the road in 2017 supporting Anderson .Paak as well as Bleachers & Sampa The Great.
