Breach EP featuring new song Someone You Loved out now

As he embarks on his largest UK & EU headline tour to date, Scotland’s Lewis Capaldi has unveiled his captivating new EP ‘Breach’. The new release comes hot off the back of being recently being announced as part of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month, where he will be performing his own session on November 14th.

Breach features his Radio 1 B-listed single ‘Tough’, which has already clocked up over 7 million streams, latest single ‘Grace’ which has just been added to the Radio 1 playlist, and two stunning new tracks in ‘Someone You Loved’ - stripped back and full of raw emotion - as well as ‘Something Borrowed (Demo)’ - an already firm live favourite.

Breach - Track Listing

1. Tough
2. Grace
3. Someone You Loved
4. Something Borrowed (Demo)

Since his debut track ‘Bruises’ exploded online last year, Capaldi has been able to boast incredibly rare markers in his still fledgeling career, whether it be selling a staggering 50,000 headline show tickets, amassing a near 250 million plays for his just 9 released tracks across streaming services & selling out no less than four back-to-back headline tours, with demand outstripping supply at every turn. This all underlined with critical praise, joining the likes of Rex Orange County & Sigrid on the BBC’s Sound Of 2018 longlist, and being added, along with Pale Waves, to BBC Radio 1’s Brit List.

His personal achievements haven’t gone unnoticed by his musician peers, however, with Sam Smith, Rag’n’ Bone Man & Niall Horan offering Capaldi an audience of 500,000+ people, the young 21 year who only 18 months previous, had been plugging-in, night-after-night into the local pub gig circuit of Glasgow.

Capaldi has now kicked off his fourth back to back sold out headline tour, which sees him play fourteen dates around the country, including two nights at the 2,200 capacity Glasgow Barrowlands that both sold out in less than an hour, and a venue he watched many of his favourite artists play as a kid growing-up. In London, Lewis will return to play a sold out O2 Shepherds Bush, a significant rise from the 120 capacity Waiting Room that he headlined just a year ago.

If 2018 has been a remarkable year for the Scottish artist, then 2019 is already shaping up to be even bigger. With his highly-anticipated debut album on the horizon, he will first be taking another swipe at the touring circuit, as support to the mighty Bastille for a 30-date stretch across the UK and Europe.
