Jamie T announces a special one-off acoustic show to take place on 12th June at the Hackney Empire. Jamie will be stripping back his songs and playing a rare selection of tracks and fan favourites throughout the night. All profits will be donated to The Lullaby Trust charity.
As something he’s wanted to do for a while, Jamie says,
'After a year of touring and playing as loud as we possibly can I wanted to try something different. I’m going to play a one-off, stripped back show at The Hackney Empire but the set list will also include songs I don’t usually get a chance to play live. There will be songs from the albums and EPs, covers, as well as some unreleased songs which no one has heard before. All profits from the show will be donated to The Lullaby Trust Charity.’
Since he first broke out in 2007 with his debut album ‘Panic Prevention’ Jamie has become one of the UK’s most distinctive songwriters, melding a love of folk, punk and ska. Following on from two sold out shows at Alexandra Palace in London last year, this stand-alone show will be a chance to catch Jamie perform a special set in a more intimate environment.
Pre-sale tickets will be exclusively available via www.jamie-t.com on Wednesday 15th April at 10am. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 17th April at 10am at www.hackneyempire.co.uk /(0)20 8985 2424.
