New single: There's A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls) out now

Blossoms have today released their new single There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls). The track is the second single taken from upcoming album Cool Like You and is indicative of the sonic progression Blossoms have made since their eponymous debut – showcasing their subtle synth riffs and soaring pop melodies.

‘Anthemic pop … another hit surely beckons.’
- Q

‘A soaring sophomore.’
- Clash

‘Cool Like You contains eleven songs of euphoric pop that are full of emotion, lyrically and musically.’ – Louder Than War

‘Cool Like You delivers everything you want from a second album.’
– Dork

Since forming in 2013 Blossoms have enjoyed consistent and remarkable success. The band were on the BBC’s 'Sound Of’ new music list for 2016 and upon its release later that year, their debut album ‘Blossoms’ entered the album chart at number 1 - later going on to be nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize and a BRIT Award.

The band have played numerous sold out shows all over the world and have just returned from an extended run of arena dates, supporting Noel Gallagher across Europe. Blossoms will embark on a headline UK tour this May including two nights and a matinee at their hometown venue, Stockport Plaza. The tour will also take in sold out dates at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum and Manchester’s O2 Apollo. (All details below.) Tickets for the remaining shows are available here

Blossoms recently set up their own Stockport based label, Very Clever Records. Their first signing, Fuzzy Sun - who Blossoms have produced and mixed for, recently released their debut EP, “Want Love” (which went straight to number 10 on the iTunes album chart). Fuzzy Sun will be joining Blossoms on their May tour later this year.

I Can’t Stand It, the first single to be released from the forthcoming album, “a banger built for sunny fields” (Dork) - has been playlisted across Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio X, Virgin Radio & Absolute Radio - as well as racking up over one and a half million streams and counting.
