Radio 1 playlist, In-store tour for debut album Get Better out 17th August

Bad Sounds will play a series of intimate in-store shows to celebrate the release of their debut album Get Better on August 17th.

Hailed as one of the best new bands of the year, with Radio 1 support for their last five singles and showered with acclaim for their - frankly bonkers - live shows, the band will play the following stores during release week:

Fri 17th (album release day)
6.00pm - Banquet, Kingston

Sun 19th
7.00pm - Rough Trade, Nottingham

Mon 20th
5.30pm - Manchester HMV

Tue 21st
7.30pm - Crash, Leeds (gig at Headrow House)

Wed 22nd
7.00pm - Sound Knowledge, Marlborough

Thur 23rd
7.30pm - Rough Trade, Bristol

Bad Sounds current single Couldn't Give It Away is on the Radio 1 playlist and their track Milk It received its first play from stalwart supporter Annie Mac on the station last Friday (2nd August).

The album is full of indie / dance bangers like these, including previous singles Wages and Evil Powers.

Bad Sounds have been hitting the festival circuit through the summer, with appearances at Rize in Chelmsford, Reading, Leeds and Bingley Live festvals still to come.

They have also announced their biggest headline UK tour, including a show at London’s Heaven venue in October. The band’s live show is becoming a word-of-mouth sensation as they turn every show into a full-on party, and creating a colourful subversive / immersive experience for the audience.
